I recently came across this company, which I thought was worth sharing as a way of helping to reduce your emissions, even on those odd taxi journeys.
Climatecars has now been operating for five years with a stated aim to change the way businesses get around. The entire fleet is made up of environmentally-friendly hybrid cars, which run on a combination of petrol and electricity, resulting in significantly reduced emissions. They are also the first company to offer a fully 100% electric saloon car service, using the new Renault Fluence car.
CEO and founder Nicko Williamson has recently won a number of awards including, Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, 2011 and the Fast Growth Business Award, 2011. The company has seen continued growth and with an impressive list of accounts held is going to become a big player on the London transport scene.
The company is also involved with Belu water, which they provide free in all cars, and give a substantial donation to the charity WaterAid on an annual basis.
Climatecars hopes to help create a greener London, with an ever increasing fleet of eco-friendly cars and competitive rates.
